Good Coffee Makes You Sing Blog

Chazzano™ coffee is roasted to perfection with care and passion to bring out the natural fragrance and flavor that comes from specialty coffee beans. Chazzano™ coffee will always be fresh and bursting with a delicious bouquet that will remind you of chocolate, fresh berries, caramel, fruit, or freshly-cut flowers. Wine has the potential of 750 taste possibilities, while coffee has 1500 potential taste profiles. Ideally, specialty coffee should never need sugar, milk, or flavor additives. We buy our green coffee beans from coffee farms that engage in Fair Trade to better compensate farmers and workers for their hard work in bringing us the highest quality coffee. We also buy organic because we want our customers to drink our coffee all day without worrying about potentially harmful chemicals.

I strongly recommend the Chazzano Coffee Travel French Press.

Use two coffee scoops of delicious Chazzano Coffee and fill with water between 190-200 degrees. Press down the press filter after 90 seconds.

Yemen Mocca Sunani

Though some chocolate hints may be found, this coffee has a plethora of fruity flavors similar to Ethiopian coffees, with a nice caramel flavor upon cooling.

Peru La Florida

This is truly my favorite because there are a plethora of incredible natural flavors that develop as the coffee cools.
Spicy floral aroma with hints of citrus. Full flavored with light creamy body and a clean finish.

La Florida was founded in 1966. Initially the cooperative consisted of 100 farmers who hoped to combine and market their coffee at better
prices and thereby attain a greater level of development. Today the cooperative has over 1500 producer associates, all small coffee farmers, representing 36 communal groups, including Peruvian Sierra colonies and indigenous communities. The coffee comes from the slopes of the Andes Mountains in the region of Central Peru. There are 183 certified organic producers participating in La Florida’s organic program. These members are now training their neighbors to improve their harvest using sustainable agriculture practices. The coffee boast USDA and TransFair USA certifications.

How to Brew an Excellent Cup of Coffee:

For Incredible Results:

  1. Immediately before making a delicious cup of Chazzano™ coffee, use a Burr Grinder to grind your coffee somewhere between coarse and fine- but closer to a fine grind.
  2. Using a standard coffee scoop, place 5 heaping coffee scoops into a 32oz. Press Pot (8 scoops for a 48oz. Press Pot). If you have purchased my Chazzano Travel French Press, use two (2) coffee scoops.
  3. Pour water that is between 190 and 195 degrees Fahrenheit into the press pot. Cover the pot with the plunger but do not press down. If you are boiling water, wait for about 30 seconds for the boiling water to drop a few degrees.
  4. After about 90 seconds, press down the plunger slowly and serve the freshest and most fragrant coffee that you have ever had.

I want you to enjoy your Chazzano™ coffee in any way that suits your taste, but before adding anything, try it black. Take some quick noisy sips. Do you taste or smell something exquisite that you don’t usually associate with coffee? Do you smell chamomile, or chocolate, or even tobacco. Does it taste smooth, buttery, or sweet? Did the taste change after it cooled down? Would you enjoy this coffee at breakfast, lunch, or dinner?  We would love to have your feedback.
